Our youth program accepts children ages 5–13. Classes are structured by age group so every student trains with peers at a similar level. Our adult program is for ages 14 and up.
Do I / does my child need prior experience?+
Not at all. Our programs are designed for every level — from day-one beginners to experienced practitioners. Coaches guide you step by step.
What should I wear?+
For Gi classes, students wear a traditional Jiu-Jitsu gi (uniform). For No-Gi classes, athletic shorts or leggings and a rash guard or fitted t-shirt work great. After signing up, you'll need to purchase a Gi.
Is Jiu-Jitsu safe for kids?+
Safety is our top priority. All classes are supervised by experienced coaches, and techniques are taught progressively. Students learn to train safely and respectfully.
Do adults need to be in shape to start?+
You don't need to get in shape before starting — that's what training is for! We welcome all fitness levels. You'll build strength, flexibility, and endurance naturally.
What is the difference between Gi and No-Gi?+
Gi training uses a traditional uniform that allows for grip-based techniques. No-Gi is done in athletic wear and focuses more on wrestling-style control. We teach both.
Can I watch a class before signing up?+
Absolutely. You're welcome to stop by and observe any class. We also offer trial sessions so you or your child can experience it firsthand.
How do I get started?+
You can sign up online through our website or stop by during any class time. We'll walk you through programs, pricing, and help pick the best fit for your family.
